COVID-19: Instagram comedian, Sydney Talker shares new test result

Days ago Nigerian Instagram comedian , Sydney Talker took to social media to reveal the alleged ineffectiveness of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC after having symptoms of Covid-19. Sydney had first made a video of himself trying to reach out to the NCDC to no avail, thereby questioning their effectiveness at a critical time like this. It was days later the NCDC, upon seeing the trending video revealed that they reached out to a particular IG comedian and the said person revealed to them that it was a skit. Sydney, hours later falsified their claims and said he was never reached out to. He later went on to give the narrative of how he was showing symptoms and was moved from one hospital to the other after being unable to get through to the NCDC. His narrative was accompanied with photos and videos showing him in an uneasy state with people surrounding him. Doaa Salah Egyptian TV Presenter Jailed After Encouraging Unmarried Sex

Just days after an Egyptian lawyer advocated rape on Egyptian television, a female TV presenter has been jailed for three years after she appeared to cast single motherhood in a positive light. On her show, Doaa Salah discussed ways of becoming pregnant outside a conventional husband-and-wife relationship. The presenter was charged with outraging public decency. Sex before or outside marriage is widely regarded as unacceptable in socially conservative Egypt. According to the BBC, Ms Salah discussed ways of becoming pregnant outside a conventional marriage on her show on Al-Nahar TV. She reportedly suggested a husband could be paid for a brief marriage, and also told her audience that sperm donation was accepted in Western countries — but not in Egypt. Ms Salah's sentence came just days after a prominent Egyptian lawyer reportedly said on television that raping women who wear ripped jeans was a "national duty".
